Joining / Sponsorship
The club has a number of sponsorship opportunities to offer local businesses. They are flexible and can be tailored to suit the needs of any particular business. The basic options are detailed below.
GOLD CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP: FOR £1000 (plus VAT) this gives a Tee Sign with the business name, address and contact details; PLUS unlimited golf for four people; PLUS a corporate golf day for up to 60 guests/employees; PLUS promotion on a sponsors board in the clubhouse; PLUS a listing on the club website.
SILVER CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP: For £750 (plus VAT) this gives a Tee Sign with the business name, address and contact details; PLUS 30 rounds of golf for four people; PLUS a corporate golf day for up to 30 guests/employees; PLUS promotion on a sponsors board in the clubhouse; PLUS a listing on the club website.
BRONZE CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP: For £500 (plus VAT) this gives a Tee Sign with the business name, address and contact details; PLUS 20 rounds of golf for four people; PLUS a corporate golf day for up to 20 guests/employees; PLUS promotion on a sponsors board in the clubhouse; PLUS a listing on the club website.
COURSE FURNITURE: For £195 (plus VAT) for the first year, then £125 pa (plus VAT) thereafter, a business name, address and contact details can be placed on course furniture, such as ball washers etc.
ROUND VOUCHERS: For £150, books of 12 vouchers entitling the bearer to a round of golf are available for business sponsors.
OPEN COMPETITIONS: The club plans to run a number of Open golf competitions in 2008 which will attract golfers from the Aberdeen area, Aberdeenshire, Angus and further afield. Dates and sponsorship amounts are listed below. For a sponsor, banners can be placed at the first tee, publicity material can be displayed in the clubhouse, the competition will be given the sponsor's name, publicity will be given on the club's website. Also, the club will endeavour to publicise the event in the Press and Journal, the Evening Express, the Mearns Leader and the popular golf results website, the Scottish Golf View.

SPONSORSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The contract term shall run for 12 months from the first date of the sponsorship. The payment must be received by Stonehaven Golf Club before any sponsorship begins or property is purchased. In the event of any sponsored Open or Club competition being cancelled for whatever reason, the club shall make every effort to re-arrange and if this is not possible then any sponsorship will be carried forward to the following year. Hole Sponsorship: The tee sign shall remain the property of Stonehaven Golf Club. Course Furniture: All course furniture shall remain the property of Stonehaven Golf Club. The cost of sponsorship in the first year includes the purchase of course furniture, eg ball washer. The payment from year two onwards is to pay for the business name to remain on the sponsored property. All Corporate Memberships: A membership card will be issued to all corporate members and must be produced prior to play. Bookings should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Tee times and outings are subject to tee availability.The cost of any food and beverage is not included in the cost of sponsorship. This membership has no voting rights in the running of Stonehaven Golf Club. Open Competitions: Included in the price of July Men's Open, the July Senior men's Open, the July Women's Open and the August Men's Better-Ball Open are two tee times for eight guests.
