Pennant matches have been organised for this year and are detailed in the members/junior fixture page. We hae three home and three away matches.

Coaching for these matches has been carried out by Andrew Locke of Inchmarlo in March/April.

We also propose to hold a junior open for the first time in a number of years and details are in the junior open page.

PENNANT RESULTS

The first match of our pennant league was held on Sunday 27th April at home against Cruden Bay. Above is a picture of our team showing off our new jumpers kindly sponsored by Graeme Garden of Kinnear & Falconer and John Strachan of Stonehaven Joinery Services.

Junior Championship

The final round of the junior championship was eventually completed on Saturday 9th August. Congratulations go to Craig Irvine for winning the Scratch Championship and to Kevin Riddell for winning the Handicap Championship. Results are in the junior fixture page and the club noticeboard.

Stonehaven Junior Open

The Freeland Freight Ltd Junior Open eventually got played on Monday 11th August. The top scratch winners were S Strachan (Inverallochy withh a score of 68 followed by B Murray (69), A Wiseman (72) and M Paterson (72).

Division 1 winner was Ross McAllan with a nett 61 followed by Kevin Riddell (62), L Michie (62) and Ross Anderson (65).

Division 2 winner was Eve Bicker with a nett 58 followed by James Duguid (63), Craig Duguid (67) and Connor Douglas (67).

Stonehaven Junior Outing

This year's junior outing was held at Edzell Golf Club. All boys had an enjoyable day and the sun shone for most of the day. Thanks go to Edzell Golf Club for their hospitality and to John Starrs for his assistance. The following are the list of winners :-

Winner - Ross McAllan with 38 points, 2nd was Craig Irvine (36), 3rd was Fraser Stark (36) and 4th was Craig Buchanan (35).
