The Ladies’ Section has more than 50 playing members at present with several social members.

We are a very welcoming club and enjoy an active competition schedule through out the year.  The summer season, starts in April and runs until the end of October with many varied fun events and competitions, mainly played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These include 18 hole and 9 hole competitions as well as Greensomes, Foursomes, Matchplay and Texas Scrambles. The Fixure list can be found under ‘Documents’ in the HowdidIdo app or on the club website. There are two playing categories: Division One (handicap 1- 20) and Division Two (handicap 21 and above). Our annual ‘Championship’ is held in June and played over three rounds.

The winter season encompasses ‘Ringer’ and Eclectic competitions over 9 or 18 holes on Tuesdays and a 12 hole Winter League on Thursdays. Many of the lady members are keen to play throughout the winter and the course is not often impacted by frost and snow.

If you are new to golf, we will be happy to play a few holes with you and help you to make sense of some of the rules of the game. The course is stunning and you won’t tire of the views!

The Ladies’ Committee hold social events throughout the year which include a Winter games afternoon, Spring Lunch, Summer Outing, Annual Prize Giving/ Dinner and Christmas Lunch.
